Dyngjufjöll er fjallaþyrping mikil í Ódáðahrauni, 15 km norður af Vatnajökli, hér um bil mitt á milli Skjálfandafljóts að vestan og Jökulsár á Fjöllum að austan. Þar er eldvirkni og megineldstöðin Askja og Öskjuvatn. Dyngjufjöll ytri eru vestasti hluti Dyngjufjalla og aðskilin frá aðal fjallaþyrpingunni af Dyngjufjalladal. Hæsti tindurinn er Þorvaldstindur; 1510 metrar á hæð.
Sæluhús Ferðafélags Íslands í Drekagili eru við Öskjuop austast í Dyngjufjöllum. Annað sæluhús er í Dyngjufjalladal.
