Hulda Pálsdóttir fæddist á Guðlaugsstöðum í Blöndudal 21. ágúst 1908. Hún lést í Héraðssjúkrahúsinu á Blönduósi 9. janúar 1995. Þau reistu bú á Höllustöðum í Blöndudal og bjuggu þar upp frá því. Pétur lést 1977. Börn þeirra eru: Páll, alþingismaður og bóndi á Höllustöðum, Már, dómari í Hafnarfirði, Hanna Dóra, kennari í Kópavogi og Pétur, læknir á Akureyri. Útför hennar verður gerð frá Svínavatnskirkju í dag.
