History
Víðidalstungukirkja er kirkja í Víðidalstungu í Víðidal. Bærinn stendur á tungunni milli Víðidalsár og Fitjár. Mestu kostir jarðarinnar til fornar voru uppgripaheyskapur og laxveiði í ánum.
Kirkja staðarins var byggð árið 1889 en hún er úr timbri. Hún var gerð upp á árunum 1960-1961. Alls komast 100 manns á kirkjubekkina. Ásgrímur Jónsson málaði altaristöfluna árið 1916 en hún sýnir fjallræðuna. Forn kaleikur og patina frá Víðidalstungu eru varðveitt í Þjóðminjasafni.
