Regína L. Rist, húsmóðir og fótsnyrtifræðingur, fæddist á Akureyri 7. febrúar 1919. Hún lést á hjúkrunarheimilinu Skógarbæ, Reykjavík, 28. apríl síðastliðinn. Regína og Guðmundur hófu búskap sinn á Selfossi og fluttu svo skömmu síðar til Hveragerðis. 1948 fluttu þau til Akureyrar og um tveim árum síðar til Reykjavíkur þar sem þau bjuggu eftir það að frátöldum fjórum árum, 1969-73 sem þau dvöldust í Lundi í Svíþjóð. Eftir andlát Guðmundar hefur Regína búið að Hraunbæ 16 í Reykjavík og síðustu þrjú árin á hjúkrunarheimilinu Skógarbæ þar sem hún naut frábærrar umönnunar.
Regína verður jarðsett frá Fossvogskirkju í dag, 6. maí, kl. 15.
