Í Finnungslág nokkurri skammt fyrir neðan Kollugerði á Skagaströnd varð maður úti í tíð séra Björns Þorlákssonar (1862), og gerðist af reimleiki mikill. Lét prestur þá setja kross í lágina, og þótti þá reimleikinn hverfa. Nú er sá kross fyrir löngu niðurbrotinn.
