History
Jóhann Eiríkur Jónsson fæddist á Sauðárkróki 19. ágúst 1921. Hann lést 20. mars síðastliðinn. Um þrítugt flutti Jóhann í Húnaþing og gegndi þar ýmsum störfum. Lengst af starfaði hann sem frjótæknir hjá Búnaðarsambandi A-Húnavatnssýslu og þar lauk starfsævinni árið 1991. Jóhann var einn af stofnendum karlakórsins Vökumanna.
Útför Jóhanns fer fram frá Þingeyrakirkju í dag og hefst athöfnin klukkan 11.
