History
Húsið er byggt á melhól ofan Svartárvegar skamt utan við Skeggstaðabrú. Það er eign veiðifélags Blöndu og er leigt til afnota fyrir laxveiðimenn í Svartá um veiðitímann. Húsið er timburhús byggt í tvennulagi með timbursvölum á milli og eru 370 m3. Það var byggt á árunum 1970-1972 á 4000 fermetra spildu sem veiðifélagið keypti úr Fjósalandi.
