Benjamin Franklín Björnsson Olson (Ben Olson) f. 1.6.1898 - 8.4.1981
Born in the RM of Gimli on 1 June 1898, son of Gudrun Solmundson, he was the Principal of Winnipeg Beach School (1929-1932), Lundar School (1935-1940), Plumas School (1941-1943), Woodlands School (1944-1946), Bradwardine School (1946-1947), Kjarna School (1953-1954), Sinclair School (1954-1956), Big Island School (1956-1957), and Armstrong School (1960-1962). He died at Gimli in April 1981.
